The Rockdale County Animal Care and Control Shelter receives many calls regarding common issues for residents and pet owners. Below are some frequently asked questions, along with the answers.
I found a yellow card on my door. What does it mean?
The yellow cards left by a Rockdale County Animal Control Code Enforcement Officer are used to advise that a complaint has been made on a dog at the residence and that the occupant/pet owner is being warned about a possible violation of a certain area of the Animal Control Ordinance.
To find out details about the complaint, contact the Animal Control Shelter. Warnings do not have to be issued before a citation is given, but when possible Animal Control Officers will advise citizens of a violation and ways to correct before court action is taken.
