Rockdale County Fire-Rescue to Hold Groundbreaking for New Fire Station #10 

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Rockdale County Fire Rescue is breaking ground on the new Fire Station #10. Fire Rescue and General Services will hold the Fire Station #10 groundbreaking ceremony on Wed., May 17, at 11:30 a.m. at 3100 Highway 138 NE. Conyers, GA.

The brand-new station will be an additional fire station that will house an engine and a quint to serve the north side of the County. The building will be an 8,000-square-foot all-brick building with three vehicle bays, day quarters with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and night quarters with ten bunk rooms, showers, and a weight room. It will also include an office and a separate entrance for the public. The new station will cost approximately $3.6M, paid for through SPLOST funding. The estimated completion for this project is May 2024.
