ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. – Rockdale County Animal Services Division will hold an unveiling ceremony to showcase their new adoption trailer on Mon., Nov. 6, 9:30 a.m. at the Rockdale County Animal Shelter, 1506 Rockbridge Road, Conyers, GA 30012.
This adoption trailer is an accomplishment for Animal Services as it will help to increase and enhance the adoption capabilities for the division. The trailer, purchased using 2023 Capital Improvement funds, features 22 individual enclosures for animals with outside viewing, dual air conditioning units, running water, an on-board generator, and graphics by local vendor EyeCon Performance Graphics.
“We are proud to be one of the few counties in Georgia to own one of these trailers,” Dan Morgan, Director of Rockdale County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) says. “This allows the Shelter to provide a safer, more comfortable environment to take a larger number of animals to adoption events. We are excited to show off the new trailer at the unveiling as well as in the community.”
The public is invited and encouraged to attend this event to learn more about Animal Services’ newest adoption tool.
