This capital project is a featured part of the 2023 initiative launched by National Fitness Campaign (NFC), a nationwide wellness consulting firm that partners with municipalities and schools to plan, build and fund Healthy Communities. This year, Rockdale County and dozens of other select recipients nationwide were awarded a $30,000 grant from NFC to help support the program. In addition to grant funding, SPLOST and general funding contributed to making the project possible in Conyers.
